For this new meeting « Parole de Passionnés », the ambassador of the 2020-2021 promotion of the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy was our guest. Helena Ciak, player of the French basketball team and LDLC ASVEL Féminin, came to share a rich moment of exchanges with the Academicians!
The Tony Parker Adéquat Academy and the Groupe Adéquat launched the conferences « Parole de Passionnés » giving voice to personalities from all backgrounds who have managed to mix passion and employment, or passion and studies. They are invited to speak about their journey, the difficulties they encountered or the best memories of their career, all in an intimate atmosphere!
During this new meeting, Helena Ciak came back to her memories to tell us about her childhood and her beginnings in basketball, especially alongside her dad. The one who did not see herself becoming a professional player finally took the plunge at 18, after an atypical path, punctuated by determination and work!
With several sporting successes with clubs and with the French national team that only asks to grow, Helena Ciak also looked back on her various experiences, and in particular the two years spent in Russia at Kursk, club with which she won the EuroLeague Women!
The Academicians members of the Media Club contributed to the richness of the discussions by actively participating in the conference. After some preparatory work, they asked Helena Ciak about some subjets they wanted to know more, as journalists.
Once again, the Academicians were able to take advantage of the happiness of their ambassador, Helena Ciak, and discover a little more of the person behind the player!
