Xavier LUCAS, Vice-President of the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy and Laurence ARIKAN, Supervisory Board President of the International School of Lyon
The Tony Parker Adéquat Academy and the International School of Lyon signed an educational collaboration to offer the International Baccalaureate to high school level Academy students who wish to follow an international curriculum.
This collaboration with the International School of Lyon gives young French and International students the opportunity to integrate a curriculum in English from high school onwards. The objective is to prepare those students for an international career through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (grades 11 and 12) offered in collaboration with the International School of Lyon. It is open to students entering grade 11 and aims to develop internationally-minded students who have the skills to become active and responsible citizens in today’s complex world.
The program gives them an excellent range of knowledge and a strong level of general culture as well as it allows Academy students to grow and progress, both in their studies and in the practice of their passion. The International School of Lyon is a school with more than 300 students of 45 different nationalities, which is committed to supporting its students to achieve their personal and academic potential.
Through the development of autonomy, a taste for learning and a feeling of intercultural understanding and respect, the International School of Lyon and the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy have implemented their collaboration based on the convergence of their values.
From September 2019, the collaboration will start welcoming passionate, curious and motivated people, in order to help them build a life project, through the achievement of their objectives and dreams, in a safe school environment.
The Academy students integrated into this programme will have a flexible schedule : they will study at the International School of Lyon in Sainte-Foy-Lès-Lyon and practice their passion on the Academy campus. This International Baccalaureate program allows passionate young people to create special links with the business world. As a matter of a fact, the curriculum integrates different professionalization modules such as conferences, immersions and internships.
