In Lyon for a few days, Tony PARKER, Founder and President of the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy along with Xavier LUCAS, Vice-President, visited the construction site this Tuesday, May 7th. This visit was guided by Florelle VISENTIN-KLEIN, CEO of Oceanis, real-estate promoter of the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy project. An opportunity to see the progression of the Academy’s different zones.

It has been almost a year since the first foundation stone of the Sports Hall, a symbolic event that made an impact on the project. The Academy campus is now ready to welcome its first Academy students in September, in the Gerland neighbourhood, in Lyon.

The Academy campus has been thought out around an architectural concept based on a crossroads of exchanges, linking large spaces with more private and intimate areas. Tony PARKER and Xavier LUCAS have then walked around the different areas of the Academy :

  • The “Play Zone” will see young basketball passionate people evolve in high quality infrastructures  : 3 basketball courts, changing rooms, balneotherapy, medical center (kinesitherapy, doctors), fitness area, coaches offices
  • The Academicians will be able to get to “Life Zone” with a direct access : central building which gathers all the areas of the Academy students’ daily life. There are the restaurant, the relaxation area or the game room
  • Nearby, the “Work Zone” gathers the Academy Administration, teaching classrooms, study group areas and the Adéquat employment agency
  • Finally, the future “Home Zone”, dedicated to the Academy students’ accommodation

This visit allowed the team to discover the works progression and for Tony PARKER to see his project finally coming to life, that he imagined more than 10 years ago ! The Tony Parker Adéquat Academy will open its doors and welcome its first promotion this September 2019. It will offer high school and undergraduate programs to all passionate young people that want to pursue their life project with a guarantee of getting a job offer at the end of their studies.
