This Thursday, October 3, 2019, in Lyon, the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy was inaugurated by Tony PARKER, Founding President, in attendance of 500 guests!
The day began with a special introduction of Tony PARKER to the Academicians: the opportunity for him to talk about his career and to dive back into his first basketball years. Tony ESTANGUET, President of the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, joined him for a surprise visit to our Academicians so they could hear more about his sporting and professional career.
Tony PARKER and Tony ESTANGUET were joined by Xavier LUCAS, Vice-President Tony Parker Adéquat Academy, Gaëtan MULLER, Co-founder Tony Parker Adéquat Academy, Jean-Marc BRUN, Founder Groupe Adéquat, Sandrine PERNOD-BEAUDON, Vice President Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Gérard COLLOMB, Mayor of Lyon, and David KIMELFELD, President of the Lyon Metropolis, for a private visit, before joining the sports hall, specially transformed for the event.
During the opening, the concept of the Academy was presented with the support of the testimonies of Academicians, staff of LDLC ASVEL, LDLC ASVEL Féminin and LDLC Team training centers, and our partners, Groupe Adéquat, Acadomia and emlyon business school.
Lastly, the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy had a surprise for all attending guests with a show of a famous local group, the Pockemon Crew!
